Community Involvement
The team at Pets Best is comprised of pet owners and pet lovers. Many of us come from the veterinary trade, and most of us have participated in animal rescue. When we’re not hard at work helping our customers, we like to spend some free time helping worthy animal charities in our community. Charities We Support
American Humane
American Humane has been committed to ensuring the safety, welfare and well-being of animals for 145 years. Donations will help support American Humane’s animal rescue efforts. From natural disasters to animal cruelty investigations, your donation will help protect animals in times of crisis.
Canine Companions
Canine Companions enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly trained service dogs at no cost to the recipient. Since their founding in 1975, they have provided over 7,200 service dogs to children, adults and veterans with disabilities. Donations will help Canine Companions reach their goal of providing service dogs – expertly trained, highest quality, free of charge – to all qualified applicants.
Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary
Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary is a safe, loving and healthy permanent home to blind cats and those that test positive for FIV or feline leukemia. These cats are deemed unadoptable and therefore immediately euthanized by most shelters and animal control facilities. We believe they deserve better. Donations will help Blind Cat Rescue give these cats the happy home they deserve.
Idaho Humane Society
Pets Best supports the Idaho Humane Society throughout the year. While we support them by raising money to ensure they can care for needy pets, we also participate in See Spot Walk, a 1-mile walk, along with a 5k Fun Run, plus vendors, contests, demonstrations, food and more!
