Pets Best Announces New Senior Vice President and General Manager, Melissa Gutierrez

Pets Best Insurance Services is excited to introduce Melissa Gutierrez as the latest addition to the Pets Best family! Melissa has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company.
Gutierrez brings with her a diverse mix of insurance industry experience, having held roles of increasing responsibility across sales, strategy, product, finance, and marketing verticals in the insurance businesses including property casualty, life, health and financial services. Most recently, Gutierrez served as President of NBS Insurance Agency, Inc., a $21.3 billion property casualty insurance brokerage wholly owned by Nationwide.

In this new role, Gutierrez will be responsible for running the overall Pets Best business, overseeing internal operations, department managers and partnerships.
This appointment of Gutierrez follows the retirement of Chris Middleton, former SVP and General Manager of Pets Best. Chris joined Pets Best in 2010, and helped to champion the company through its acquisition by Synchrony.
