American Idol alum Katharine McPhee recently revealed that although she may not have children of her own, she counts her Chihuahuas as her babies.
Admitting she's "codependent" on her furry friends, McPhee revealed to PopEater that she brings her dogs wherever they're allowed, even if her husband think it's a little nuts.
"Sometimes [my husband] rolls his eyes when I say, 'The dogs are coming, right?'" McPhee admitted to the news provider. "I finally just overheard him saying to somebody, 'It's a little bit of a security blanket for her,' and I thought, 'He's probably right.'"
In addition, McPhee constantly provides pet care to her animals to ensure they're happy and healthy. Although she may bring her dogs everywhere, the singer admits she's had some problems traveling with her cat.
Apparently, when trying to bring her cat somewhere, the feline peed in her car, forcing McPhee to get rid of the vehicle. McPhee admitted the event "wasn't so great."
Several media outlets have seen McPhee out and about with her Chihuahuas, Lily and Nena, walking around Los Angeles or dining al fresco, proving her point that she really does try to take them wherever she can.
