Is a Siberian Husky the Right Dog Breed for You?
The Husky can be an ideal family dog if behavioral and obedience training is started young.  They are high energy and require frequent companionship with people and other dogs.  Behavioral issues include a tendency towards being vocal, destructive behavior when not adequately stimulated and roaming and escaping.  They can be very affectionate with people of all ages. Their dense coat requires weekly grooming to maintain. The coat can adapt to be suitable for warmer climates as well.
