- Alyssa Milano becomes a fairy dogmother
Scooby Roo, a disabled dog who was born with only two hind legs is receiving outpouring support from some Hollywood actresses.
After being abandoned because of his predicament, Scooby Roo was found in poor dog health underneath an abandoned, wrecked car in Los Angeles. The dog was quickly taken in by the charity Fuzzy Rescue, which specializes in animal rehabilitation and adoption.
Scooby Roo gained national media attention upon news that Michael Jackson's children heard about the story and wanted to pay for the dog to get a cart so he could move around. Since then, actresses Shannon Elizabeth and Alyssa Milano have stepped up to the plate, donating money to pay for the new wheels.
Now enjoying full mobility with the help of a special cart, Scooby Roo is thriving in the shelter. Milano also stepped up to be the dog's godmother, receiving updates on his condition and being allowed to play with the pup, according to Radar Online.
When Scooby Roo visited the actress, she took to her Twitter account to talk about her love for the dog.
"I fell in love with Scooby Roo," Milano posted. "I helped him get wheels. How could I not?"
