Is a Belgian Malinois the Right Dog Breed for You?

The Malinois is very intelligent and highly trainable. They excel at obedience, tracking and herding.  They do best when given a 'job' due to their high energy level.  They can tend towards aggression and have been noted to bite.  Early socialization and obedience training can help curb this.  They are not particularly trustworthy with children due to their large size and herding nature.  They are moderate shedders and require regular grooming.
